1. Who can use Koqeto

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. Accounts created by anyone under 18 will be deleted.

2. What Koqeto is — and isn’t

Koqeto is an AI-powered coaching tool for dating and social skills: it helps you practice conversations, rehearse scenarios and get feedback.

Koqeto is not a dating or matchmaking service: we don’t connect you with other people, and we don’t guarantee any result in your personal life.

The coach is an AI, not a professional. Its suggestions may be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong, and they are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Use your own judgment — you are responsible for what you do with the coach’s guidance. If you are dealing with a crisis, the Service is not the right place: seek help from a qualified professional.

3. Your account

You can sign in with an email address, Apple or Google. Keep your credentials safe, and let us know right away at privacy@koqeto.com if you suspect someone else is using your account.

You are responsible for everything that happens through your account, and for the information you provide being accurate.

You can delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. What we keep and for how long is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service to break the law or anyone’s rights.
• Don’t use it to harm, harass, stalk, manipulate or deceive anyone — the coach is for practice, not a weapon.
• Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share, and never content depicting minors in a romantic or sexual context — we report it and terminate the account.
• Don’t interfere with the Service: no scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing usage limits or security measures, or reselling access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content

Your conversations, images, practice sessions and notes are yours. We need a limited license to make the Service work: a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, process and display your content solely to operate, secure and provide the Service, including through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

That license never lets us sell your content or use it to train AI models.

You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload. If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them freely to improve the Service.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

The Service offers a free tier with usage limits. Optional paid subscriptions unlock more usage, with the lengths and prices shown in the app before you buy.

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billed to your store account, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your store account settings; to avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period renews.

Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies — if you believe a refund is warranted, contact the store or write to us and we’ll point you to the right place.

We may change prices or what a plan includes. If a change affects your current subscription, we’ll give you advance notice through the app or the store’s price-change flow; otherwise, changes apply from your next billing period.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party platforms and providers — the app stores, our cloud providers and AI services — each with their own terms. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

8. Changes to the Service

We work on Koqeto all the time: we may add, change or remove features. If a change is material, we’ll tell you in the app beforehand when reasonably possible. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service; if we ever shut it down for good, we’ll give you reasonable advance notice and a way to export or delete your data.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the app’s settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if keeping the account creates risk for other users or for us. We’ll tell you when we can.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or exactly to your taste.

AI output can be wrong. The Service is coaching practice, and we don’t guarantee outcomes in your dating life.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Koqeto and Trego LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law — including in the EEA and the UK — or liability that can’t be limited under the law.

12. Indemnification

If your use of the Service, your content or your breach of these Terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our resulting costs and damages, to the extent the law allows.

13. Resolving disputes

Talk to us first: most problems are solved with an email to privacy@koqeto.com. Before starting a formal case, describe the issue to us and give us 30 days to respond.

• If you live in the United States — except for small claims court cases, you and Koqeto agree to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and each of us gives up the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by emailing privacy@koqeto.com with your name and account email.
• Everywhere else, and always for consumers — if mandatory local law gives you the right to go to your local courts (as in the EEA or the UK), that right stays intact. These Terms never take away consumer protections you are entitled to.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules — but if you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your country of residence still apply.

15. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new date, and tell you in the app when a change is material. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree, delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous

• If a court strikes any provision, the rest of these Terms stay in force.
• We may assign this agreement in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of the company.
• You can’t share or transfer your account to another person.
• The Service can’t be used from embargoed countries or by parties on US sanctions lists.
