The three rules
- Send it once. A closure message sent twice is a demand.
- Say what was true for you, without resentment or sarcasm.
- Leave the door open only if you mean it. Otherwise close it kindly.

Do not send
- Essays. Three paragraphs of feelings to someone who stopped replying is a gift they did not earn.
- Sarcasm disguised as jokes. It reads as anger, and it is.
- Stalking their profiles for clues. That closure work is yours, not theirs.
